What we collect
When you request a website assessment, Mainstay collects the website address, business name, your name, email address, and any optional phone number or notes you choose to provide. Basic technical information may also be processed when you use the site.
Why we collect it
We use the information to review the website, prepare or discuss an assessment, respond to the request, prevent abuse, and improve how Mainstay delivers its services. We do not sell personal information.
Website analytics
Mainstay uses first-party event analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, traffic sources, interactions with key calls to action, assessment-form performance, and website speed. Mainstay's event analytics uses a temporary session identifier stored in your browser's session storage. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, local storage, or fingerprinting. Information entered into the assessment form is not sent to Cloudflare Web Analytics.
How it is handled
Assessment requests are stored using service providers that help operate this website. We limit access to people and systems that need the information for the purposes above and retain it only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, legal obligations, or legitimate business records.
Your choices
You can ask Mainstay to correct or delete information associated with an assessment request, subject to legal or operational requirements. Contact hello@mainstayworks.ca or use the website assessment form and write “privacy request” in the notes.
Contact
Mainstay is operated from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Privacy enquiries can be sent to hello@mainstayworks.ca.
