Why websites first

Your website should sell the business you've actually built.

Plenty of established local businesses do excellent work offline, then send potential customers to an online experience that suggests otherwise.

01

Looks behind the business

A dated first impression makes good work harder to trust.

02

Makes mobile visitors work

Pinching, hunting and waiting are quiet reasons to leave.

03

Explains too little

Generic claims do not help a customer choose with confidence.

04

Hides the next step

If the call, quote or contact path is unclear, intent disappears.

Credibility. Clarity. Action.

That's what Website Rescue fixes.

Three biggest opportunities

  1. 01
    Make the quote path unmistakable

Replace generic buttons with one persistent, specific action across mobile and desktop.

  2. 02
Move proof closer to the decision

Place reviews, credentials and service-area evidence beside the claims they support.

  3. 03
    Clarify the service promise

Lead with the customer problem, response expectation and geography—not a generic company welcome.

Scope, without the small print

Know what you're buying before the work begins.

Website Rescue starts at $2,500 for the typical scope described here. If your requirements materially increase the work involved, we will explain what changed and agree the price with you before work begins.

01What does a typical Website Rescue cover?

Approximately five core pages where appropriate—often Home, About, Services, Service Area and Contact—plus custom responsive design, forms, trust elements, technical fundamentals, analytics, migration and launch.

02What can increase the price?

Materially greater scope may cost more. Examples include many service or location pages, bilingual or multilingual builds, extensive content migration, complex booking systems, CRM integrations, calculators, ecommerce, bespoke backend functionality and unusually complex third-party integrations. Pricing is based on the work required, not assumptions about what a prospect can afford.

03How quickly can it launch?

If Mainstay approached you with a working concept and you want to proceed, we can usually finalize and launch it within five business days of receiving your go-ahead, required access and consolidated feedback. That commitment assumes the final scope remains close to the concept; larger additions are agreed separately before work begins.

04Who handles the words and content?

Mainstay drafts and refines the core website copy from a focused intake, your existing materials and a working conversation with you. Specialist legal, technical or regulated claims remain your responsibility to verify.

05What platform will the site use?

We recommend the lightest sensible platform for the business and confirm it in the proposal. The finished website, approved copy and design are yours after final payment. Your domain stays in your name.

06Are domain and hosting included?

Domain registration and hosting are not included in the Website Rescue price. You can purchase them directly or ask Mainstay to arrange them as a separate cost. Any other third-party software fees are also disclosed before work begins. Ongoing maintenance is optional.

07How do payment, revisions and support work?

For a typical $2,500 Website Rescue, the payment schedule is a $1,250 deposit to begin and $1,250 at launch. Two reasonable revision rounds are included, followed by 14 days of support for defects in the delivered build.
